About Joe:
Joseph (Joe) Seaman is an Investment Committee member at 119th Street Capital, the private investment arm of First Bancshares Inc., a multi-generational, family-owned enterprise.
Joe began his career in 1970 at Lake County National Bank in Painesville, Ohio, which was later acquired by Bank One and ultimately by JP Morgan Chase. Joe’s previous roles include Chief Financial Officer, Bank One of Columbus, Ohio, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank One, Lafayette, and later, Regional President of Bank One. Joe also has extensive board experience, serving the Wabash Center, Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette, Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Purdue Center for Economic Education, United Way of Greater Lafayette, Columbus Life Insurance, and Lafayette Life Insurance.
Joe received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Lake Erie College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
